This role is designed for an expert technician with extensive experience who is capable of handling complex mechanical diagnostics, advanced electrical troubleshooting, and intricate repair work with minimal supervision. As a Senior Technician at an independent Mercedes specialist, you will be a key figure in upholding our high standards. You will work on everything from delicate restoration projects on 1960s classics to performance tuning and diagnostics on the latest Mercedes-Benz models. Key Responsibilities
- Advanced Diagnostics: Lead complex fault-finding operations, including intricate electrical system analysis, ECU programming, and software configuration using Xentry/Star Diagnosis.
- Technical Leadership: Serve as a point of escalation for technical queries, assisting other team members and ensuring all repairs meet our high standards.
- Complex Repairs: Perform major mechanical overhauls, including engine and transmission work, advanced suspension geometry, and sophisticated repairs.
- Quality Control: Oversee final inspections and road tests to ensure every vehicle leaves the workshop in showroom condition.
- Communication: Act as a technical liaison for team members and clients.
