Amey is advertising an on-site General Building Engineer role at HMP Brinsford. The position covers planned and reactive maintenance across prison facilities, with a 39-hour week and a 1-in-4 weekend rota (7:45am–4:45pm on weekdays, earlier on Fridays) plus a 15% weekend allowance.
You will be responsible for ensuring parts availability, carrying out CCTV/alarm work, fire safety tasks and regular testing of safety systems, including emergency lighting and water temperature checks.
