We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Cleaner to join our National Highways Account in Amey, Calder View House, Peel Avenue, Wakefield, WF2 7UA. This role will be based on site.
The salary is £12.82 per hour. The hours of work will be Saturday and Sunday - 6 hours per week:
- Shift Pattern: 9:00am - 12:00pm OR 1:00pm - 4:00pm (start and finish times can be flexible)
Amey provides comprehensive facilities and estate management services for National Highways England, including maintenance, cleaning, and project management. We collaborate with clients, staff, and partners to ensure our 24/7 service maintains high standards with minimal disruption, keeping one of Europe’s busiest road networks safe and operational.
What you will do:
- Providing a cleaning service that delivers to our contractual requirements
- Controlling stock levels and ordering consumables
- Operating machinery safely and in line with the guidelines and training provided
- Ensuring a high-quality service is provided to the building users at all times
- This role will also support both local and business zero carbon programmes, working towards zero carbon in a strategic and lean manner as and where it is appropriate.
- Responsible for ensuring H&S standards are achieved across the contract
