Join Amey’s growing Mobile team supporting the Ministry of Justice and work across a small regional patch of sites, helping to keep essential services running safely and efficiently. What you’ll be doing:
- Carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across multiple sites
- Taking responsibility for electrical systems as an Authorised and Responsible Person
- Managing permits, isolations and ensuring safe systems of work
- Reviewing electrical certificates and ensuring compliance
- Supporting site teams with technical advice and guidance
- Assisting with minor works, upgrades and inspections
You’ll work across a small number of sites, giving you variety without excessive travel.
What we’re looking for:
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation
- 18th Edition (or working towards)
- City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent) Inspection & Testing
- AM2 and/or ECS Gold Card
- Experience in commercial or industrial environments
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Experience with fire alarms, CCTV, or working in regulated environments is a bonus—but not essential.
Prison Security Clearance will be required (Amey will support you through this process).
