What you’ll be doing
Our Energy, Lighting and Technology (ELT) practice primarily works across Street Lighting, Technology, Traffic Signals and Electric Vehicle (EV) strategy and designs which also include all elements of Highways Infrastructure including: Structures, Highways, Drainage and Geotech. During your apprenticeship, you’ll work across key areas of Highways Infrastructure, you’ll study a range of specialisms including the design and implementation of networks using communications and signal processing, engineering management, and instrumentation and control systems.

- Further your knowledge of engineering principles across electronic and embedded systems
- Specialise in your area of interest
You’ll spend around 4 years completing your degree through a combination of:
- Classroom learning
- Real project experience with our engineering teams

The ideal candidate will be adaptable, and proactive in their approach, showing professionalism and integrity in everything they do.
Minimum Qualifications are:
- BBC at A Level including mathematics or a mathematics‑based subject plus at least one other from physics, physical science, engineering science, computer science, technology, or other science or technology subject.
- DMM in BTEC Extended Diploma in a science or technology‑based subject (including passes in mathematics and two other science or technology‑based modules) or; Merit overall from a T level qualification - this must include a B in Core and can be from any engineering specific T level.
- GCSE Mathematics and English at grade C/4 or above.
The commitment and drive to complete your Apprenticeship and final end point assessment.
