We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Cleaner to join our Barnsley Schools Account in Astrea Academy Dearne, Goldthorpe Road, Goldthorpe, Doncaster S63 9EW. This role will be based on site. The salary is £13.45 per hour. The hours of work will be: 10.75 hours per week:
- Monday: 5:30am - 7:30am
- Friday: 5:30am - 7:30am

Amey provides facilities and estate management services to the Barnsley Schools Private Finance Initiative across 11 schools, ensuring high-quality, safe, clean, and compliant learning environments for teachers and students. They work in partnership with clients and end-users to deliver 24/7 services to the highest standard with minimal disruption to the schools' daily operations.
What you will do:
- Providing a cleaning service that delivers to our contractual requirements
- Controlling stock levels and ordering consumables
- Operating machinery safely and in line with the guidelines and training provided
- Ensuring a high-quality service is provided to the building users at all times
This role will also support both local and business zero carbon programmes, working towards zero carbon in a strategic and lean manner as and where it is appropriate. Responsible for ensuring H&S standards are achieved across the contract.
