This role supports the delivery and continual improvement of quality management arrangements across the contract, ensuring compliance, assurance and operational excellence.

  • What you will be doing
  • Support the maintenance and continual improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Maintain quality documentation and records, ensuring they are accurate, compliant and auditable.
  • Assist with the logging, monitoring and close-out of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
  • Support root cause analysis activities and track corrective and preventive actions.
  • Assist with planning and coordinating internal and external audits.
  • Prepare audit documentation and collate objective evidence.
  • Support compliance with ISO 9001, client requirements, contract requirements and National Highways standards.
  • Prepare quality reports, dashboards and performance trackers.
  • Coordinate quality briefings and maintain associated records.
  • Act as a key point of contact for quality documentation and enquiries.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and quality action plans.
  • Work collaboratively with operational teams, project managers, Health & Safety and client representatives.
  • Provide administrative and coordination support within the maintenance unit.
  • Support document reviews and process improvement activities.
  • Promote collaborative stakeholder engagement in support of quality objectives.

  • Strong organisational and planning skills.
  • A high level of attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving ability.
  • The ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders.
  • Experience of maintaining records, documents or business systems.
  • A proactive approach and commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Experience supporting a Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001.
  • Experience of audits, compliance activities or corrective action management.
  • Experience within highways, infrastructure, engineering or a regulated environment.
