We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a permanent Plumber in HMP Garth, Ulnes Walton, Leyland PR26 8NE. The standard hours of work are 39 hours per week. Staff are required to work on a rota basis between 08:00 - 17:00. There will be a need to work 1 in 4 weekends but this would be on a rota basis (and with an additional allowance of 15% of basic salary).

At Amey, we’re supporting our justice client, His Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS) by providing them with safe, clean and efficient prisons.
What you will do:
- Routine and non-routine maintenance.
- Mains water supply repairs.
- Fault finding.
- Identification of life expired equipment, checking, repairing and making good faults.
- Inspections, water sampling and risk assessment.
What you will bring:
- Full driving licence.
- Experience in a commercial environment.
- Experience in operating light plant.
- NVQ level 3 in Plumbing and Heating is preferred (we will consider NVQ level 2).
- Legionella Control (L8) is desirable.
