The Job
We’re looking for an Electrician to join the team at HMP Liverpool — a steady, long-term role on a single site.
You’ll be carrying out maintenance and repairs across the prison, keeping systems safe and running properly.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Planned and reactive electrical maintenance
- Fault finding and repairs
- Like-for-like replacements and small works
- Testing and inspections (BS7671)
- Keeping systems safe and compliant
- Working as part of a site team in a secure environment
What You’ll Need
- Level 2 Electrical Installation
- 18th Edition (or 17th with willingness to upgrade)
- Experience in maintenance / FM / building services
- Able to work independently and use initiative
- Basic IT skills
