We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an Asbestos Manager in Speke, Liverpool.

HOURS OF WORK: 37.5, Monday to Friday

Join our vibrant, inclusive community in Complex Facilities working on Military Family Housing across the Central and North regions delivering an accurate Asbestos register and working with supply chain to ensure safety and compliance to make a real positive impact across the UK. The contract covers the Central and North regions of the UK and Northern Ireland, where we maintain over 20,000 Military Family homes, Play Parks, Flats (including communal areas), roads and infrastructure. Some within the military base footprint and majority on estates close to Military bases.

What you will do:

  • Responsibility to maintain the Asbestos register
  • To ensure all updated information is correct and inputting of this data to the Asbestos Register
  • Manage/raise and close out reactive orders from works being undertaken which contain ACM’s
  • Raise and gain approval for billable works
  • Review import data from Specialist contractors
  • Manage a small team of specialists within the Asbestos team

What you will bring:

  • The ability to work accurately in a skilled environment
  • Can resolve issues and be responsible for closing difficult tasks
  • Good Excel and computer literacy skills
  • Ability to learn new systems and ways of working
  • Hold P405 qualification
  • Worked within an Asbestos administration environment – desirably Social housing
