We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an on-site Administrator to join our Ministry of Justice (MoJ) team in HMP Long Lartin. The standard hours of work are 39 hours per week, Mon – Fri 8am – 5pm with an hour earlier finish every Friday! The base salary is between £27,426 - £28,304 dependant on experience.

The Administrator plays an important part in ensuring the planned and reactive maintenance work within the prisons is carried out in a safe, compliant and timely manner.

What you will do:

  • Process and handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Responsible for ensuring H&S standards are achieved across the contract.
  • Assist with the delivery of services to the client using a case management system.
  • Receive and disseminate information to other team members to ensure service delivery.
  • Share information to ensure HMPS needs are met.
  • Work with HMPS on-site vetting team to aid in the onboarding of new starters.
  • Input to and maintain spreadsheets/databases/systems and produce and collate reports.
  • Raise purchase orders and arrange payment of invoices.
  • Support both local and business zero-carbon programmes, working towards zero carbon in a strategic and lean manner where appropriate.
  • Take direction from Site Manager and wider team members.
  • Handle all other reasonable requests as determined by your line manager.

What you will bring:

  • Experience/use of Microsoft packages/IT literate.
  • Excellent ability to manage timekeeping and prioritise workload.
  • Able to develop and maintain good working relationships.
  • Familiar with/exposure to management systems or other similar data entry and reporting database applications.

Prison Security Clearance will be required (Amey will support you through this process).
