We have a fantastic opportunity for a permanent Senior Bridge Inspector to join our structures team in Scotland. We have design hubs in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Motherwell, Perth, and Aberdeen together with additional office space in Dumfries, Ayr, Dundee, Nairn and Huntly. Amey has several long-term contracts in Scotland including the management of trunk road networks for both the south west and north east regions. We also have a diverse portfolio of civil engineering projects with Transport Scotland, Local Authorities and contractors in Scotland and further afield.
Responsibilities
- Leading the inspection of a range of bridges and civil engineering structures
- Recording condition and making recommendations
- Arranging testing for Special Inspections
- Developing safe systems of work
- Advising on and arranging suitable access and TM
- Supervising bridge inspectors

Qualifications
- HNC/HND/degree in Civil Engineering or similar relevant discipline
- Demonstrable experience inspecting a range of bridges / civil engineering structures
- Strong communication and team working skills
- Achieved of working towards EngTech membership (desirable)
