We have a fantastic opportunity for a permanent Bridge Inspector to join our structures team in Scotland. We have design hubs in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Motherwell, Perth, and Aberdeen together with additional office space in Dumfries, Ayr, Dundee, Nairn and Huntly. Amey has several long‑term contracts in Scotland including the management of trunk road networks for both the south west and north east regions. We also have a diverse portfolio of civil engineering projects with Transport Scotland, Local Authorities and contractors in Scotland and further afield.
You will be responsible for:
- Inspecting a range of bridges and civil engineering structures
- Recording condition and making recommendations
- Developing safe systems of work and assisting with arranging suitable access
