We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an Equipment Demand Operative at Wainscott Barracks, Chatham, Kent. Join our vibrant, inclusive community in Complex Facilities/Defence Equipment as Equipment Demand Operative. Become a key player in preparation of vital equipment, ancillaries and CES in accordance with demand activities.
What you will do:
- Preparation of equipment for demand.
- Cleaning equipment prior to and post demand.
- Checking and preparing CES.
- Preparation of all associated documentation and handover takeover paperwork.
- Assist in the good upkeep and cleanliness of the pool location.
- Delivery and collection of equipment and spare parts as required.
- Completion of job cards in accordance with data entry requirements for the Fleet Management System.
- Assist Engineers as required.
- Must be willing to work away from regional pool location and in other regional areas.
- Will be required to undertake out of hours duties including weekend work and callouts.
What you will bring:
- Full UK Driving License.
- No restrictions to gaining MoD security clearance.
- Ability to assist in loading and unloading of equipment, tools, STTE and spares.
