Location: Wales (Based from HMP Cardiff – covering regional sites)

Contract: Permanent | Full-time 39 hours per week (08:00–17:00) + 1 in 4 weekends (15% shift allowance)

What you’ll be doing:

  • Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across multiple sites
  • Supporting a range of building systems and compliance tasks
  • Acting as an Authorised Person (training provided)
  • Following safety and security procedures
  • Taking part in an on-call and weekend rota

You’ll work across a small number of sites, giving you variety without excessive travel.

What we’re looking for:

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative
  • Basic health & safety and IT awareness
  • Experience in areas such as fire safety, emergency lighting, water checks or general compliance would be beneficial—but not essential.
