We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Permanent Assistant PM/Duty Manager to join our dynamic Transpire team at Huddersfield. 37.5 hrs per week, on site working role. In this role, you will support the PC Manager by ensuring site compliance is achieved. You will collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to ensure compliance to relevant NR and health and safety legislation. This role offers you the unique opportunity to join a once in a generation Rail project which is transforming the rail network between Manchester and Leeds, providing the communities with a faster and more reliable transport.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage accident and incident reports.
- Conduct inspections of compounds and worksites (Days & Nights).
- Identify and resolve worksite hazards.
- Review construction documentation, including WPPs, TBS, SWP, and TW briefs.
- Deputise in the absence of your peers.
- Attendance at project logistics, deconfliction and whiteboard meetings.
- Chair evening project whiteboard briefings.

What You’ll Bring:

- Previous experience with Duty Management in complex rail work sites in accidents and incidents first response – i.e. Kelvin TOPSET.

- Knowledge of PDSW processes to enhance efficiency and innovation in your role.
- SMSTS or equivalent - Essential.
- willingness to work weekends and nights.
- Full UK Driving license.
