We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an on‑site Stores Person in HMP Swansea.
Standard hours of work are 39 hours per week, Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, with an early finish every Friday.
What you will do
- Issuing stock (e. g. clothing) to prisoners promptly.
- Keeping accurate records of stock and tracking items issued to prisoners.
- Regularly checking stock levels to prevent shortages.
- Moving stock, including heavy lifting.
- Maintaining cleanliness and order in the Stores.
- Ensuring health and safety standards are met across the contract.
- Packing and sending items via courier for safe delivery.
- Collecting items locally as needed.
- Supporting local and business zero‑carbon initiatives strategically.
