We are excited to offer a permanent Operational Control Manager to join our dynamic Staffordshire Account in Stafford. This role will be carried out onsite at 1 Tipping Street, Stafford ST16 2DH. The Operational Control Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and efficiency of our services. By overseeing the planning and delivery team, the manager is responsible for achieving key outputs and maintaining high standards of performance. This entails managing resources, acting as a primary contact for performance reporting, and implementing long-term solutions for recurring issues. The manager is pivotal not only to the success of the Staffordshire account but also in fostering a collaborative and productive environment. Their impact on the community is significant, as they drive improvements in service delivery, ultimately benefiting both clients and operational staff.

What You’ll Do

  • Responsibility for OCR delivery and achievement of OCR outputs
  • Manage Planning and delivery team
  • Ensure OCR functions are fully resourced and managed as required
  • Act as OCR contact point for all reporting of performance and productivity data
  • Oversee workforce planning with capacity planning
  • Provide information to Client and Operational/Business Managers as required
  • Review performance of plan/programme and working towards long term solutions for repetitive problems
  • Focus on driving improved performance on daily basis
  • Deliver and continuously improve service levels
  • Maximise the productivity of the resources through reduction in wasted time, materials and operational costs
