The Role
At Amey we put safety first always. As a Senior HSEQ Advisor at Amey Consulting primarily supporting our water sector contracts, you will play a pivotal role in driving the continuous improvement of Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental (HSQE) standards across a range of projects. You will provide expert advice and guidance on HSQE matters to project teams, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards notably BS EN ISO45001, BS EN 14001 and BS EN ISO 9001, while promoting a positive safety culture across all levels of the business.
Responsibilities Include:
- Be seen to add value to the operations, practice and delivery management teams by delivering a proactive risk and solution‑based approach based on engagement.
- Expand your knowledge and competence of other areas of health, safety, environment and assurance in order to become a multi‑skilled member of the HSEQ family.
- Write clear, concise and readily understood reports, procedures and guidance documents, ensuring Group minimum standards and wider BU governance standards are met.
- Apply technical and specialist knowledge to deliver and manage a risk‑based audit.
