What You’ll Do

  • Carry out inspection, diagnosis, servicing and repair of vehicles, trailers and plant equipment
  • Work within the workshop or via Mobile Service Vehicles (MSVs) as required
  • Perform maintenance in line with manufacturer guidelines and DVSA standards
  • Complete all work to a minimum MOT standard
  • Use diagnostic equipment to identify electrical, mechanical and hydraulic faults
  • Test functionality of vehicle systems and components
  • Deliver cost‑effective repairs within agreed budgets
  • Complete job cards and maintenance records using tablets/PDA devices
  • Conduct road tests to confirm safety and performance
  • Provide roadside support and breakdown assistance when required
  • Ensure safe use and maintenance of all tools and equipment
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment
  • Adhere to all legal, compliance and Operator Licence requirements
  • Follow Health & Safety procedures at all times
  • Work collaboratively and share knowledge across the team
