Project Manager – Rail

40 hrs per week, hybrid working – office and site.

In this role, you will manage all aspects of the project bringing together each required discipline. Working in a collaborative partnership with Network Rail across five E&P Frameworks within the NW&C region, delivering safe, efficient and value‑driven outcomes.

What You’ll Do

• Accountable for submitting and meeting accurate forecasts for cost and turnover, achieving forecast margins for allocated contracts.
• Effectively lead and line‑manage project teams, including training, development and performance management.
• Ensure that allocated contracts are effectively planned and progress reviewed on a weekly basis.
• Timely submission of weekly PAPM/CAPM’s and period‑end Balanced Scorecard reports to an agreed format (including the Amey Essentials KPIs).
• Support the tender processes and strategy as required.
• Establish and manage a clear communication plan for client and suppliers, meeting Amey Essential KPIs.
• Ensure that client and key stakeholder aspirations are fully understood and incorporated into the delivery plan.

What You’ll Bring

• Significant project management experience, successfully delivering multi‑discipline projects within railway infrastructure with responsibility for P&L at project level.
• CDM working within principal contractor experience.
• Process‑driven individual with proven ability to lead multi‑discipline teams.
• Commercially experienced and competent.
• Skilled at customer and supply‑chain management in challenging environments.
• Computer literacy – Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook.
