Hours: 39 hours per week (Mon–Thu 08:00–17:00, Fri finish 15:00)
The Role
- Carry out planned and reactive painting and decorating across the prison
- Maintain tools, materials and equipment
- Work safely in line with H&S procedures
- Support prisoners through painting/decorating tasks (CRED programme – extra pay available)
What We’re Looking For
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Painting & Decorating
- Experience in a similar role
- Good understanding of H&S and safe working practices
- Comfortable working in a secure environment alongside, and supervising, prisoners
- Team player who shares knowledge and best practice
- Prison Security clearance + standard DBS required (fully supported by Amey)
