Location: HMP Full Sutton, Moor Lane, Full Sutton, York YO41 1PS.
Type: Permanent full‑time.
Standard hours: 39 hours per week with rota 08:00‑17:00 Mon‑Thu, 08:00‑16:00 Fri‑Sun. Weekends on rota 1 in 3 with 15% additional allowance.
What You Will Do
- Routine and non‑routine maintenance
- Mains water supply repairs
- Fault finding, identifying, checking, repairing and making good faults
- Inspections, water sampling and risk assessment
What You Will Bring
- Full driving licence
- Experience in a commercial environment (desirable)
- Experience operating light plant
- NVQ level 3 in Plumbing and Heating (preferred; NVQ level 2 considered)
- Legionella Control L8 (desirable)
Prison security clearance, including counter‑terrorism check, is required (Amey will support you through the process).
