We have a fantastic opportunity for a permanent Mobile Area Cleaning Manager to join our Northampton school’s account. This role is based on-site, although you will need to hold a UK driving licence to travel to your assigned schools. The salary is dependent on experience. The standard hours of work are 37.5 hours per week – Monday – Friday (flexible start and finish times dependent on requirements).

We deliver 24/7 services with minimal disruption, working in partnership to maintain high standards.
The Cleaning Manager is responsible for coordinating and supervising all cleaning activities across the school sites to maintain a safe, hygienic, and welcoming learning environment. The role ensures that all areas, classrooms, communal areas, toilets, sports facilities, and specialist spaces meet the contractual cleaning KPIs and compliance standards suitable for a school setting.
Responsibilities- Oversee daily cleaning operations across the school sites within your remit.
- Develop cleaning schedules around school activities and timetables.
- Minimise complaints by ensuring service delivery in line with contractual cleaning KPIs.
- Ensure deep cleaning is completed during school holidays or when required, as per schedule agreed with client.
- Respond promptly to urgent cleaning requests such as spillages or illness incidents.
- Supervise and support cleaning staff, including planning rotas and allocating duties.
- Manage staff performance in line with Amey HR policy and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with Amey’s COSHH, safeguarding and health.
