About The Team: Our Consulting Highlands teams impact the journeys of millions across the UK by working in partnership with a range of clients on both major design projects and local network improvements. Our Energy, Lighting and Technology (ELT) practice works across street lighting, technology, traffic signals and electric vehicle strategy and design. Projects include work on structures, highways, drainage and geotechnical infrastructure.
What You’ll Be Doing: As an Electrical Engineering Graduate, your overall objective is to ensure the effective delivery and maintenance of infrastructure services across our varied contracts.
- Undertake work of a technical nature that falls within your ability and competence.
- Prepare design calculations, AutoCAD drawings and documents.
- Carry out site visits and inspections.
- Prepare feasibility studies, inspection and assessment reports, ensuring compliance with Amey procedures.
- Keep up to date with industry best practice and apply this within a team environment.
- Develop innovative solutions to enhance project delivery.
