Job Overview

  • Contract: 12‐month on‐site at Dalton Barracks, Shippon (OX136JB).
  • Salary: £32,097
  • Hours: 40 hours per week

Responsibilities

  • Ensure personal Plant Logbook up to date.
  • Maintain and service Level 1/Operator plant and MHE.
  • Carry out first, halt and last parade service on military and commercial Plant and MHE.
  • Prompt fault reporting, record keeping, documentation updates.
  • Drive and operate military and commercial Plant and MHE, complying with driver disciplines.
  • Load and unload Plant and MHE on/off transporters/rail flats.
  • Complete all related job and service documentation with necessary signatures.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Category C (HGV) driving licence.
  • Previous experience operating plant & MHE is advantageous but not required.
  • Previous military experience is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise workload.
  • Understanding customer needs.
