About the Team: Amey Engineering teams improve the environment and create sustainable flooding solutions across the UK, by working in partnership with a range of clients, providing consultancy design services for Local Authorities, Strategic and Local transport providers and organisations delivering National Infrastructure. We make our towns and cities better places to live by improving connectivity, flood resilience, sustainability and quality of life.
What you’ll be doing: As a Civil Engineering Graduate within the Rivers and Flooding team, you will work alongside the team to:
- Undertake any work of a technical nature that falls within ability and competence.
- Prepare design calculations drawing and documents.
- Undertake Hydrology and Hydraulic Modelling using best in class software.
- Carry out site visits, surveys, inspections, and supervise sub-contractors.
- Prepare feasibility studies, inspection, assessment, and technical reports ensuring compliance with Amey procedures.
