Location: Amey Defence Equipment, DM Kineton, Marlborough Barracks, Temple Herdewyke, Southam Warwickshire, CV47 2UL
Working Hours: 37.5 hours Monday to Friday
As part of your Apprenticeship, you will be enrolled onto a Level 3 Lift Truck and Powered Access Engineering Technician for 36 months. You will be fully supported by our partnered college to achieve this qualification, with 1-2-1 advice, support, e-learning, and a team of experts available at your office.
Responsibilities
- Years 1 to 3: complete the 3‑year apprenticeship qualification: Level 3 Lift Truck and Powered Access Engineering Technician Apprenticeship standard.
- Gain on‑job experience: start by shadowing mentors and engineers, progressively perform tasks under supervision, then alongside qualified engineers with work checked and signed off.
- Work will be carried out on customer premises and at Amey Defence Equipment workshop locations within your specified region.
Qualifications and Skills
- 3 GCSEs at grade 4/C or Scottish National 5 Grade C or above in English, Science & Mathematics (or equivalent) – Desirable.
- A full or provisional UK driving licence – Desirable.
- Comfortable working outdoors in inclement weather.
- Comfortable completing both manual labour and administrative tasks.
