Location: HMP Kirkham, Freckleton Road, Kirkham, Preston, Lancashire, PR4 2RN
Standard hours: 39 hours per week, rota Monday‑Thursday 08:00‑17:00; Friday‑Sunday 08:00‑16:00; 1 in 3 weekends with 15% allowance.
What You Will Do:
- Routine and non‑routine maintenance.
- Mains water supply repairs.
- Fault finding and identification of expired life support equipment, checking, repairing and making good faults.
- Inspections, water sampling and risk assessment.
What You Will Bring:
- Full driving licence.
- Experience in a commercial environment.
- Experience operating light plant.
- NVQ level 3 in Plumbing and Heating preferred (level 2 may be considered).
- Legionella Control (L8) desirable.
Prison Security Clearance and Standard DBS will be required; Amey will support you through the process. We welcome applications from a diverse range of candidates.
