Location: HMP Kirkham, Freckleton Road, Kirkham, Preston, Lancashire, PR4 2RN

Standard hours: 39 hours per week, rota Monday‑Thursday 08:00‑17:00; Friday‑Sunday 08:00‑16:00; 1 in 3 weekends with 15% allowance.

What You Will Do:

  • Routine and non‑routine maintenance.
  • Mains water supply repairs.
  • Fault finding and identification of expired life support equipment, checking, repairing and making good faults.
  • Inspections, water sampling and risk assessment.

What You Will Bring:

  • Full driving licence.
  • Experience in a commercial environment.
  • Experience operating light plant.
  • NVQ level 3 in Plumbing and Heating preferred (level 2 may be considered).
  • Legionella Control (L8) desirable.

Prison Security Clearance and Standard DBS will be required; Amey will support you through the process. We welcome applications from a diverse range of candidates.
