Permanent Assistant Project Manager – Signalling with a dynamic Eastern and Southern team at Bedford. 37.5 hrs per week, hybrid working with a requirement of 3 days in the office. Provide support on multidisciplinary projects, gaining exposure across delivery, commercial, and bid activity. Opportunity to work with one of Network Rail’s main contractors on Signalling, telecoms and OLE frameworks across the Eastern region.
Responsibilities
- Prepare information for internal PRM and external to client, including KPIs in line with period reporting.
- Act as communications liaison under direction of the PM.
- Outline cost estimating, management and monitoring of project budget.
- Project planning, programming, cost control and administration.
- Maintain high technical standards in compliance with Amey HSEA requirements.
- Support the preparation of bids and delivery of services on other contracts.
- Maximise operating efficiency and deliver projects in compliance with the project control system to agreed standards and targets.
- Implement quality improvements when opportunities arise.
- Support PM and construction team on key weekends and commissioning.
