About The Team: Our Consulting Highways teams impact the journeys of millions across the UK, by working in partnership with a range of clients on both major design projects and local network improvements. Our Energy, Lighting and Technology (ELT) practice primarily work across Street Lighting, Technology, Traffic Signals and Electric Vehicle (EV) strategy and designs which also include all elements of Highways Infrastructure including: Structures, Highways, Drainage and Geotech.

What You’ll Be Doing: As an Electrical Engineering Graduate, your overall objective of this role is to ensure the effective delivery and maintenance of infrastructure services across our varied contracts.

  • Undertake any work of a technical nature that falls within ability and competence.
  • Prepare design calculations AutoCAD drawings and documents.
  • Carry out site visits and inspections.
  • Prepare feasibility studies, inspection, assessment, and technical reports ensuring compliance with Amey procedures.
  • Keep up to date with industry best practice and apply this within a team environment.
  • Developing innovative solutions to enhance delivery of projects.
