Shift Pattern: Mon & Tue 05:00 – 08:00 & 16:00 – 19:00; Wed, Thu & Fri 15:00 – 18:00
Responsibilities:
- Supervise cleaners, carrying out basic people-management activities.
- Conduct bi-weekly cleaning audits to drive internal improvement.
- Control stock levels and order consumables through correct channels.
- Operate machinery safely, in line with guidelines and training.
- Deliver training to cleaners on Amey way modules, including 6-monthly refreshers.
- Resolve concerns or issues raised by team members, escalating to the people manager when necessary.
- Perform any reasonable requests directed by the line manager.
- Ensure health and safety standards are met across the contract.
- Support local and business zero-carbon programmes where appropriate.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience supervising or leading a cleaning team, preferably within facilities maintenance.
- Highly organised, responsible, efficient, with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong customer-service skills – friendly, approachable, with a positive work ethic.
- Openness to learning and supporting others.
- Required to pass an enhanced PVG check (enhanced vetting).
