We are excited to offer a permanent Business Support Manager opportunity based onsite at Abingdon, Oxfordshire. Hours of Work – Monday to Friday, 37.5 Hours.

We will support the day‑to‑day management, operation, and stability of the ERP system (IFS Cloud) under the direction of the Business System Manager. Ensure the ERP platform runs reliably, securely, and efficiently to meet business needs. Monitor system performance and proactively identify issues or opportunities for improvement.

What You Will Do

  • Lead and coordinate ERP configuration and development activities in line with agreed standards and priorities.
  • Translate business requirements into proposed ERP solutions, providing analysis and recommendations for approval.
  • Deliver approved enhancements, configurations, and integrations, ensuring changes are implemented consistently and correctly.
  • Manage the operational delivery of ERP changes, including configuration, development, testing, and deployment preparation.
  • Coordinate testing activities (system and user acceptance testing) and ensure appropriate documentation is completed.
  • Present changes and impacts clearly for review and formal sign‑off by the Business System Manager.
  • Identify opportunities to improve business processes and system usage through effective use of ERP functionality.
  • Become the SME to the business for all IFS related issues, providing recommendations on best practices within the system, suggestions for development to improve the business process, and identification of manual processes that could be better aligned within the system.

  • IFS Apps or Cloud Experience – desirable.
  • Demonstrate experience in the use and management of an ERP System.
  • Strong organisation skills with the ability to multitask effectively and manage time across competing priorities.
  • Strong communication skills with written and verbal communication.
  • Working knowledge of the IFS Applications (Apps or Cloud).
  • Proven ability to work to strict deadlines.
  • Proven ability to manage development life cycles.
  • Experience working within a System Development Team.
  • Experience managing development life cycles (from Idea to Deployment).
  • Proven experience with MS365 applications, in particular Outlook, Excel and Teams.

No restrictions to gaining required MoD Security Clearances.
