Location: HMP Lindholme, Doncaster (DN7 6EE)

Salary: £28,792 + 15% weekend allowance

Hours: 39 hours per week – Monday to Friday 07:45 – 16:45; Saturday to Sunday 07:45 – 15:15; 1 in 3 weekends paid at +15%; on-call rota included

The Role:

  • Carry out general maintenance and basic repairs across the site
  • Support tradespeople with day-to-day tasks
  • DIY work such as decorating, furniture building and repairs
  • Escort contractors when required
  • Keep areas safe, tidy and well-maintained

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong hands-on experience in general maintenance or DIY
  • NVQ trade qualification or CITB (or similar)
  • Reliable, team player with a good work ethic
  • Willing to learn and pick up new skills

Security clearance:

  • Prison Security clearance and Standard DBS required – full support provided by Amey.
