Role: Permanent Carpenter/Joiner
Standard hours: 39 hours/week, shift pattern 8am‑5pm with 1 hour lunch, 1 in 3 weekend working 8am‑4pm and 15% allowance on top of salary.
What You Will Do
- Carry out joinery work including repairing doors, windows, signposts, formwork and other bespoke timber items.
- Responsible for joinery workshop – maintenance of machines, statutory inspections, housekeeping and cleanliness.
- Organise and plan daily work with the supervisor, record and submit all details of work on relevant work orders.
- Measure and quote for works.
- Order materials.
- Maintain stock of building maintenance material.
- Support zero‑carbon programmes, working towards zero carbon in a strategic and lean manner as appropriate.
- Handle all other reasonable requests as determined by your line manager.
