We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a permanent Plumber in HMP Humber, Sands Lane, Brough HU15 2JZ. Standard hours of work are 39 hours per week. Staff are required to work on a rota basis between 08:00 – 17:00 (finish at 16:00 Friday). There will be a need to work 1 in 3 weekends on a rota basis, with an additional allowance of 15% of basic salary. What you will do:
- Routine and non‑routine maintenance.
- Mains water supply repairs.
- Fault finding – identification of life‑expired equipment, checking, repairing and making good faults.
- Inspections, water sampling and risk assessment.
- Any other duties commensurate with the role.
What you will bring:
- NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing and Heating with experience in plumbing maintenance.
- Experience operating light plant.
- Legionella awareness and compliance is desirable.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Experience in a commercial environment.
