About The Team: Our Team provides the Civils and Structural Engineering expertise for multidisciplinary projects delivered by Amey Consulting. We have teams located in offices across the UK, who collaborate closely to provide support and mentoring to enable our junior team members to develop and gain key experience to deliver high-quality results.
What You’ll Be Doing: As a Civil Engineering Graduate, you could be working across a number of different rail infrastructure projects across the country, including:
- Northern Power House Rail (NPR) – Sheffield Station and Leeds to Sheffield Route upgrades
- Network Rail Eastern Route Partnerships and Northwest and Central Framework
- Cardiff Cross Rail and Core Valley Lines in Wales
You will work alongside the team, consisting of Engineers, Seniors, and Principals, and carry out a variety of technical duties relevant to the project stage:
- Bridge/structure/infrastructure design and assessment
- Developing innovative solutions for outline/feasibility designs of Stations and other Rail infrastructure
- Preparing technical drawings and working alongside our BIM team to develop 3D Models
- Technical Report writing to communicate our designs to our clients
- Working alongside engineers from all other disciplines to determine clash detection and ensure safe and robust solutions
