Hours of Work: 37.5 – Monday to Friday

Permanent position based onsite in St Athan with travel across South Wales.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the stakeholder interface on site to deliver all contractual outputs.
  • Manage supply chain to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
  • Project management across major/minor domestic scale projects and asset replacement.
  • Health, safety and environmental management (CDM).
  • Quality assurance of works.
  • Planning, directing and controlling activities.
  • Agree scopes for regional projects.
  • Proactive performance management of the project supply chain.
  • Problem solving and decision making.
  • Ensure H&S standards are achieved across the contract.
  • Support local and business zero‑carbon programmes where appropriate.

Qualifications

  • HNC or equivalent level qualification in Building/Civil Engineering, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Management level qualification in health, safety and environment (e.g., SMSTS).
  • Ideally qualified in Building Engineering with experience in Construction and Property Maintenance.
  • Desirable: experience in CDM, asbestos, temporary works supervision and a sound understanding of ecology regulations relating to bats.
