We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Permanent Commercial Manager within highways maintenance and/or structures experience to join our Specialist Bridges Inspection and Maintenance (SBIM) contract in Bristol, working on the iconic Severn, Prince of Wales and Avonmouth Bridges. The SBIM contract involves delivering inspection and maintenance programmes for National Highways, offering a significant chance to work on specialist structures. This longâterm contract suits a handsâon QS or Commercial Manager ready to drive project success.
You will be responsible for securing additional revenue by managing the quotation process under the NEC4 Term Service Contract. Core duties include:
- Producing quotations in a high volume environment, ensuring delivery, managing change, liaising with the client and supply chain, and supporting monthâend reporting procedures.
- Maintaining effective valuation and commercial processes throughout the project lifecycle, focusing on the production of accurate and timely quotations.
- Overseeing compliance and production of process and procedures.
- Collaborating with Project Managers to ensure a robust quotation process is followed.
- Delivering opportunity and risk assessments both preâand postâcontract, including risk mitigation strategies.
- Managing client expectations working alongside them as 1 team.
- Monitoring and ensuring compliance with project commercial KPIs.
- Advising and supporting project staff on contract obligations and measurement rules.
- Communicating effectively with clients and internally to promote the Amey brand and influence successful results.
- Reporting to the Principal Commercial Manager.
- Collaborating with key supply chain partners to develop strategies that enhance client service delivery.
