We have a fantastic opportunity for a permanent Bridge Inspector to join our structures team in Scotland. Amey has several long‑term contracts in Scotland including the management of trunk road networks for both the southwest and northeast regions. We also have a diverse portfolio of civil engineering projects with Transport Scotland, Local Authorities, and contractors in Scotland and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Inspecting a range of bridges and civil engineering structures
- Recording condition and making recommendations
- Developing safe systems of work and assisting with arranging suitable access
Qualifications
- HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or similar relevant discipline
- Strong communication and team‑working skills
- An interest in bridges / structures
- Desire to attain bridge inspection qualifications under the guidance of our experienced bridge inspection team
