Job Details
£31,629 per year – estimated. Permanent. We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a permanent Plumber in HMP Whatton, New Lane, Whatton, Nottingham NG13 9FQ. The standard hours of work are 39 hours per week. Staff are required to work on a rota basis between 07:30 and 16:60. There will be a need to work 1 in 3 weekends but this would be on a rota basis, with an additional allowance of 15% of basic salary. By using our facilities management expertise, we help keep 60 secure premises across England and Wales running smoothly.
What you will do
- Routine and non‑routine maintenance
- Mains water supply repairs
- Fault finding
- Identification of life expired equipment, checking, repairing and making good faults
- Inspections, water sampling and risk assessment
- Any other duties commensurate with the role
