The Senior Network Architect designs and governs complex network architectures across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments. The role works in close partnership with Information Security, translating security requirements into scalable, resilient network and connectivity solutions.
What you'll do:
- Design and architect enterprise networks across WAN, LAN, data centre, and cloud environments, translating business and security requirements into scalable, implementable designs with appropriate routing, switching, and connectivity patterns.
- Own network capacity planning, technology lifecycle roadmap, and refresh cycles; define automation and observability standards using infrastructure-as-code tools (Ansible, Terraform) and monitoring platforms.
- Produce architectural artifacts (HLD/LLD, ADRs, reference architectures) and lead vendor evaluation and technology roadmapping.
- Partner with InfoSec to implement security controls, Zero Trust principles, and segmentation using Palo Alto NGFW and Prisma Access solutions.
- Serve as senior SME for BGP, OSPF, MPLS, SD-WAN, and internet-based WAN architectures; design hybrid connectivity using Equinix Fabric integrated with cloud providers and Prisma Access.
- Troubleshoot complex multi-vendor, multi-cloud traffic-flow and routing issues; guide Network Engineering teams through implementation and design reviews.
- Design and govern cloud network architectures (AWS/Azure) including VNet/VPC design, transit architecture, and cloud-native connectivity patterns with secure on-prem and SD-WAN integration.
- Mentor senior engineers, support capability development, and collaborate across Network, InfoSec, Cloud, and Infrastructure teams for cohesive outcomes.
What we're looking for:
Experience
- 10+ years of enterprise networking experience, including a minimum of 3 years in an architecture or principal engineering role.
- Demonstrated experience operating in large, multinational enterprise environments.

Soft Skills:
- Executive stakeholder communication (VP/C-level); ability to translate complex network architecture into business risk and investment terms.
