The Regional Account Manager is responsible for leading and managing the regional client relationship with their portfolio of Strategic Accounts. Our Account base represents Amex GBT Egencia's largest global clients, with over €40M in travel expense and presence in more than one region. In this segment of the business, the ratio of accounts to Account Managers is limited and determined based on the global volume as well as the complexity of client support. We partner with our clients and mutually work to build and achieve key initiatives within the regions to support global consolidation and alignment.

What You'll Do

  • You will grow and retain Egencia's largest global accounts and strategic partnerships by ensuring overall client satisfaction with Amex GBT Egencia offerings.
  • You have the ability to drive results through strategic planning, building, and executing on regional business plans.
  • You will represent the EMEA region with the development of business plans and initiatives.
  • Create and deliver quarterly and annual Regional Business Reviews.
  • Ability to apply industry knowledge and market trends to business environment, how they may impact business needs and travel solutions.
  • The ability to understand product capabilities and communicate the value and differentiation of a service offering in the market.

What We're Looking For

  • Demonstrated ability to work with peers across multiple markets and/or regional geographies.
  • The ability to drive actions and achieve results; leading initiatives and projects to completion.
  • Capacity to build and present information in a concise, professional, and consumable manner.
  • Proven contract negotiation skills.
  • You possess commercial account management experience, ideally from within a travel agency environment or similar.
  • You ideally will have handled accounts in the EMEA Region, including geographies, culture and business protocol.
  • Self-motivated with demonstrated strengths managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, changing environment, and driving them to completion with limited direction.
  • Ability to travel as needed both nationally and internationally, travel will be required at 20%+.
