As an Event Planner, you’ll work closely with clients to understand and deliver on their meeting program goals. Working closely with your team, you’ll lead program planning from contract execution to final billing, while providing unparalleled levels of customer service on all travel programs.
What You’ll Do- Support multiple clients’ events
- Effectively plan and handle your workload and deliver outstanding service to the clients’ specification including working with research, event proposals, policies, negotiations, and management of suppliers
- Communicate confidently amongst peers to share standard procedures and with internal and external suppliers
- Coordination of all involved services (venues, accommodation, transportation, restaurant, transfers)
- Attendee Management for VIP clients
- Prepare documentation for attendees (Programme, Welcome letter, Air, Train ticket)
- Make required payment to suppliers as per ad hoc agreements
- Proficient Business English (Spanish language is a benefit to the role)
- Customer care excellence
- Strong experience in event management
- Validated negotiation skills and an understanding of the ability to effect win/win solutions
- Knowledge of program/event management and budget maintenance
- Proven prioritisation and time management skills as well as excellent attention to detail when working under pressure to meet deadlines
- Meeting Event Management technology system experience preferred with an online sourcing tool i.e. Cvent
- Excellent computer skills in particular Microsoft packages and specifically Excel
