American Express Global Business Travel is seeking a detail-oriented and brand-passionate Junior Analyst, Brand Management & Compliance to join our Global Brand Management team. This is an excellent opportunity for a marketing-minded professional with a keen eye for brand consistency and compliance to drive meaningful change across our organization.
In this role, you'll be the guardian of our brand standards—executing our brand transformation strategy by ensuring all internal and external marketing materials meet both compliance and brand guidelines. You'll manage our brand resource hub, audit assets across multiple channels, and guide stakeholders through required changes. You'll also play a critical role in our acquisition integration, supporting the transition of acquired company branding to Amex GBT standards while maintaining legal compliance.
This is a role for someone who understands the power of consistent branding, enjoys working cross-functionally with marketing teams and agencies, and is energized by driving organizational adoption of brand standards. You'll see the direct impact of your work through measurable reductions in brand compliance issues and a stronger, more cohesive brand presence across all touchpoints.
What You'll Do:
- Audit internal and external marketing assets across marketing teams, sales, agencies, and trade partners to identify brand compliance gaps and ensure adherence to brand standards.
- Manage and maintain our brand resource hub, including our internal brand site and digital asset management (DAM) system, ensuring stakeholders have access to current brand guidelines and approved materials.
- Guide stakeholders on required brand changes, providing clear feedback on compliance issues and recommending specific corrections to bring materials into alignment.
- Develop and deliver brand enablement materials, including training resources, guidelines, and best practice documentation to drive adoption of brand standards across the organization.
- Support acquisition integration efforts, leading the transition of acquired company branding to Amex GBT standards while maintaining legal compliance and brand integrity.
- Track and report on brand compliance metrics, demonstrating measurable reduction in brand compliance issues and the impact of enablement initiatives.
What We're Looking For:
- 1–3 years of professional experience in brand management, marketing operations, compliance, marketing communications, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of brand guidelines, brand consistency, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail with a proven ability to identify brand inconsistencies and compliance gaps.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills—able to guide teams on brand changes in a collaborative, non-punitive manner.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
- Able to work effectively across functions, including with marketing, sales, legal, and external agencies.
- Experience with digital asset management (DAM) systems, content management systems (CMS), or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with brand marketing, content development, and digital communication channels.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Who You Are:
- Brand-focused: You understand the importance of consistent branding and take pride in maintaining brand integrity.
- Detail-oriented: You catch inconsistencies others miss and ensure materials meet brand standards.
- Collaborative: You work well with diverse teams—marketing, sales, agencies, and trade partners—and build strong relationships.
- Communicator: You can explain brand requirements clearly and guide stakeholders toward compliance without creating friction.
- Organized: You excel at managing systems, documentation, and processes that keep brand resources accessible and current.
- Change-oriented: You're energized by transformation initiatives and driving organizational adoption of new standards and AI solutions.
