We are seeking a high‑performing Corporate Travel Sales Manager to drive new business acquisition by offering our unique suite of solutions (Amex GBT Select, Neo, Complete, Egencia). This role carries an annual new‑business sales target of circa $25M (travel spend) broken down quarterly, and is supported by a curated list of circa 100 priority prospects. You will be expected to engage each prospect every quarter, building momentum, nurturing relationships, and converting opportunities into contracted revenue.

What you'll do

  • Sales Strategy & Execution
    • Own and deliver a $25M annual sales quota, with quarterly targets aligned to business objectives.
    • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan.
    • Manage a portfolio of approximately 100 assigned prospects with UK & Ireland HQ, ensuring structured quarterly engagement and progression through the sales pipeline engaging with 100% of those prospects.
    • Identify, qualify, and close high‑value opportunities that align with Amex GBT’s travel management solutions.
  • Client Engagement & Relationship Building
    • Build strong, trust‑based relationships with senior stakeholders (C‑suite, procurement, operations, travel managers) meeting with 100% of your prospect portfolio quarterly utilising a recognised sales framework.
    • Conduct discovery sessions to understand client needs, travel patterns, and operational challenges.
    • Deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and ROI‑driven business cases.
  • Collaboration & Internal Partnership
    • Work closely with marketing, bid management, consulting, and implementation teams to deliver seamless client experiences.
    • Partner with product and technology teams to position Amex GBT’s solutions effectively.
    • Maintain accurate forecasting and CRM hygiene to support leadership visibility.
  • Market Insight & Thought Leadership
    • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.
    • Represent Amex GBT at industry events, conferences, and networking forums.

What we need from you

  • Proven track record in B2B sales, ideally within corporate travel, SaaS.
  • Experience managing large, complex sales cycles with enterprise‑level clients.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to articulate value propositions clearly.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder‑management skills.
  • Highly organised, disciplined, and comfortable managing a large prospect portfolio with quarterly engagement expectations.
