The TPN Global Project Manager role is your opportunity to join a truly dynamic global team that plays a central part in key enterprise-wide transformation and integration projects, within our organization. In this role you are responsible for delivering a portfolio of complex projects in partnership with clients and teams throughout the business. Projects include global customers onboarding, customer migrations and internal initiatives to improve our performance and efficiency and product/technology rollout. This is a delivery focused role, which would suit someone who can deliver complex projects, thinks analytically and has the confidence to challenge where necessary. You will have ownership of a project’s full lifecycle.
This role covers a wide spectrum of tasks with the core responsibility being preparation of Customer Readiness. Key to your success will be collaborating closely with Executive Sponsors and project stakeholders, engaging with a wide variety of subject matter experts, Travel Partners and actioning effective escalation processes to drive decision making, enabling program deliverables.
What You’ll Do- Lead the end-to-end program strategy, shaping and defining the project scope, utilizing company best practices and support from key stakeholders.
- Develop a deep understanding of projects within the program portfolio and dependencies.
- Drive complex, cross-functional enterprise projects, leading multiple efforts simultaneously.
- Leads high performing, cross-functional, often globally distributed teams.
- Performs core project management duties, including developing a project plan, detailed task-driven schedule, RACI, resource plan and change management plan.
- Facilitate project meetings focused on status reporting, problem resolution, feedback, fostering open communication within the team; Ensures that project status reports are relevant, transparent, and add value.
- Recommend resolutions to issues or conflicts arising and dependencies to ensure the project timelines are met and processes are met.
- Able to concisely communicate complex and technical information in a manner that all audiences can easily understand via multiple formats, i.e. virtual and in-person.
- Communicate regularly and clearly with the Executive Sponsors, ie. Egencia and TPN leadership team.
- Able to represent the projects at governance forums or steering committee meetings.
- Responsible for planning, building, and managing the Smartsheet architecture, supported by and aligned to global processes and automation solutions.
- Drive the Travel Partner Network integration program by Country, aligned to Global Customer Readiness.
- Identify collaboration opportunities across the TPN Network and between workstreams, remove silos and enhance efficient working practices.
- Championing the customer in every conversation to ensure all workstreams are delivering the best solution for GBT and the Customer.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, taking complex detail and translating to consumable information.
- 5+ years of experience with proven track record to deliver results with previous large scale customer migration project experience.
- High aptitude and enthusiasm with a proven history as a self-starter who can work independently with minimal direction, manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to change.
- Excellent solution-oriented problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills to effectively respond to shifting priorities, demands and timelines. Innovative and creative thinking.
- Ability to influence areas of the organization, not under direct authority.
- Ability to juggle multiple customers moving simultaneously and to work in a fast-paced environment including leading across multiple geographies, functions & time zones.
- Always focused on delivering excellent customer experience while being pragmatic/realistic about what is achievable within business and/or project constraints.
- Constantly curious and excited to explore new ideas and technologies, learn new skills and be solution minded.
- Knowledge and experience of the Corporate Travel Industry and GBT travel operations, a plus.
- Proficiency in project management software such as Smartsheet/MS Project/MS Office applications for reports, data analysis, and PowerPoint presentations, is required.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to take sophisticated information, present confidently in an appropriate manner and level of detail, for consumption by a wide and varied range of stakeholders.
