Reporting to the Director of Global Business Partnerships, this is a highly visible and integral role within Global Business Partnerships (GBP), which generates revenue through negotiating supplier agreements that deliver value to GBT. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end management of a portfolio of suppliers, securing Private Fare Content, selling Media and Marketing, driving business planning and development activities, and value delivery execution. This is a multifaceted end-to-end supplier management role encompassing supplier negotiations, contract execution, business development, and other key supplier relations initiatives.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage supplier relationships: develop and nurture supplier relationships outside of traditional sales channels.
  • Effective Negotiations: negotiate supplier commercial agreements on behalf of the GBT network.
  • Manage the delivery of the supplier value proposition building strategies to support negotiations.
  • Drive Increased Revenue: identify, sell and drive execution of additional supplier revenue opportunities.
  • Responsible for broadening/deepening total revenue.
  • Ensure business development commitments to suppliers are executed.
  • Track and report portfolio performance.
  • Negotiate supplier participation in key events.
  • Support/coordinate sponsorship sourcing for key meetings and events.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and cross-regionally with Traveller Care, Client Management, Sales, Revenue Management, M&E, Supplier Optimisation, Global Business Consulting in order to align strategies, drive engagement and optimise results.

What we need from you:

  • Consultative selling and negotiation skills. Proven track record in driving successful negotiations at senior level.
  • Skilled project manager. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and drive results on time and on plan.
  • Strong team player and influencer. Gains buy-in and engagement (internally and externally) through collaboration.
  • Must be highly analytical to maximise reporting tools.
  • High degree of financial acumen with a commercial mindset with proven ability to translate data into conclusions and actionable recommendations.
  • Intuitive understanding of technology - GDS, Point of Sale tools, online booking tools.
  • Strong oral and written communications skills including aptitude for formal presentations.
  • Excellent relationship building, collaboration and influencing skills at all levels.
  • An understanding and knowledge of the travel and/or travel supplier industry highly desirable.
  • Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills.
  • Outcome oriented with proven track record in driving best in class results.
