The centre supports both young people and adults, offering a sensitive and person-centered assessment experience. The team works collaboratively with healthcare and education professionals to ensure accurate assessments and clear recommendations for support.
This is an on-site Receptionist role based in Bolton. The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and professionals, providing a calm, welcoming, and respectful environment. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Managing incoming calls
- Greeting and checking in clients
- Scheduling and confirming appointments
- Maintaining an organized reception area
- Handling confidential information
- Updating records
- Processing basic administrative paperwork
- Supporting clinicians with general clerical tasks
- Coordinating with other team members to ensure smooth clinic operations and timely communication with clients and caregivers
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact sensitively and professionally with young people, adults, families, and professionals
- Proficiency in receptionist duties and clerical skills, including managing appointment systems, maintaining records, and handling confidential documents accurately
- Confident phone etiquette and experience managing a busy phone line, including directing calls, taking messages, and providing clear information
- Good organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Comfort working with individuals who may be anxious or distressed, maintaining a calm and supportive manner
- Basic IT skills, including use of email, electronic record systems, and standard office software
- Previous experience in a healthcare, clinic, or similar reception environment is an advantage
