Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day supervision of the Avionic & Heater workshops.
  • Co-ordinate the efficient use of resources and equipment ensuring adherence to the forward load to meet the production schedule.
  • Support the implementation of new product development initiatives.
  • Maintain and ensure implementation of all standard operating practices and procedures.
  • Ensure strict compliance and implementation of all safety standards.
  • Monitor defects and warranties to ensure quality standards are maintained in accordance with EASA, FAA and company procedures.
  • Liaise with the customer support team to facilitate achievement of efficient and effective customer service levels.
  • Raise MSO’s & modify Standard Overhaul Spares, templates & standard hours when required.
  • Train and motivate staff, identify training and development opportunities.
  • Responsible for development and maintenance of strong team morale and team working.
  • Meet health, safety and environmental regulations.

Qualifications

  • Experience of 21G & 145 regulations highly desirable.
  • Prior experience in an engineering/workshop environment is preferred.
  • ONC / HNC Engineering (desirable).
  • Numerate and literate – minimum GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English.
